District Staff

Len Lichvar
Len is the District Manager. He started with the district in December 2005. His responsibilities include administration, coordination, public outreach, and implementation of all District projects and functions. Len is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a B.A. in Economics.

Susan Moon
Sue is the Assistant Manager. She started working for the Somerset Conservation District in December of 1987. Sue graduated from Cambria-Rowe Business College with an Associate Degree in Specialized Business.

Keith Largent
Keith is the Erosion and Sediment Pollution Control Technician. He started to work for the Somerset Conservation District as a summer intern in 1989. He became the Second E&SPC Technician in 1990 and moving on to first technician in 1991. Keith graduated from Shippensburg College with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Geo Environmental Studies.

Don Williams
Don is the Nutrient Management Technician. He started to work for the Somerset Conservation District as the AHT Design Engineer in 1991. In 1995, Don's responsibilities moved to being a Chesapeake Bay Program Technician, and the Nutrient Management Program responsibilities were added in 1997. Don attended Penn State University, majoring in Agricultural Engineering.

Dave Kemp
Dave is the Watershed Specialist. He started in April 2005. His responsibilities include working with local watershed organization projects. Dave has a BGS, Geology, Geography, and Zoology. He is a graduate of Weber State College, UT, Postgraduate classes at UPJ and Ohio State University.

Eric Null
Eric is the District's Aquatic Biologist. He is responsible for stream surveys, macroinvertebrate sampling and identification and coordinating the District's joint water quality monitoring project. He also provides direction and assistance for a variety of watershed planning projects. Eric graduated from California University of PA with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries.
